Abstracts:
The purpose of this report is addressing the main issue of the water scarcity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, illustrating the efforts of this country used to try, and coming up the plan that has potential to alleviate the problem in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The source of the information includes the academic reports, news, online data and academic journals. The findings are expected to support that transport the glacial from the South Pole can increase the fresh water supply. Findings claims that the harsh environment and the growth of the consumption of the water let the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has little fresh water and government tried to increase the quantity of the fresh water, and the glacial is ideal place to take the fresh water. The findings support that the transportation of the glacial can increase the fresh water to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The limitation of the report is that some of data is not the newest.
1.0 Introduction:
The water scarcity is a world wide hot problem that is associating with all living things in the earth. Though the water is covered almost 71% of the earth surface area, the fresh water or the portable water is still in the shortage, for there are only 3% water is the portable water. Meanwhile, the uneven distribution of the water makes some countries face the serious situation, for example, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
