Introduction
As Engels proposed in The Origin of the Family, Private Property and the State (1972), the first premise for the emancipation of women is the reintroduction of the entire female sex into labour industry. Though in the purpose to serve his socialism economy theory, Engel’s claim has become a modern common sense that women stepping out of family and engaging in labour market has greatly changed the picture of the world in the past century. And financial independence, by all means, has guaranteed women worldwide to pursue equality and further women rights. At the same time, the conflict between a traditional and modern role of a women has always existed. Reproduction, among all of them, is still one of the greatest differences between men and women that result in discrimination in labour market. In correspondence to this, larbour and marriage laws have been gradually improved to protect women’s rights, and many women have also made active decision on having fewer children or no children to make place for career achievement.
