HCS-The Health Care Reform Project: Healthcare Spending

To summarize the health care reform would describe the active areas of healthcare that would improve the consumer’s health care delivery that is a cost effective impact on the United States. The systems inefficiencies, market rise, and fall with or without the coverage would affect the consumers. The decrease in health care spending will increase a real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) affect, which would prevent federal deficits and increase a family of four’s income in the year of 2020 to $2,600.00. The lower unemployment rate is also; the outcome of a reformed system that has slowed down the health care cost. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) created by the United States federal statute that President Obama signed into law in 2010, which was a comprehensive reform act implemented to improve health care. This act was a government subsidized insurance plan that changes the United States citizen’s affordable healthcare availability for all consumers [ (NYTimes, 2012) ].

The PPACA’s designed to protect the patients that needed health care coverage with a managed care plan that would provide services whether with a condition or preventive care. The one issue that the Health Care Reform has projected in the past eight years is retirement policies affected by the economic behaviors. Globally the healthcare reforms largely on the aging because of the population of the “Baby Boomers” concern for the social security placed for their retirement plan in the 1960’s before the legislator. The increase rate of healthcare in the United States for the aging population has a significant concern for the acute healthcare.
