EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The purpose of this report is to demonstrate a solution to RW&CO. in order to improve their current component of scheduling in their administration area of business. RW&CO. is one of the divisions that operate under Reitmans Canada Limited and the retail store we will be focusing on is located in Grandview Corners (BC).

By improving the scheduling component of RW&CO., this store will amplify the productivity level of the employees. This will align its ability to make higher profits closer to the company’s objectives.

The user requirements of the new system contain sufficient details such that the approval of this recommendation will in fact help the business. Also, a feasibility analysis of the proposed solution will look at the general solution to this scheduling problem. Finally, the implementation plan will be shown for the rest of this project to illustrate what plan is necessary to implement for this project to run smoothly.

We presume that if RW&CO. agreed to proceed with the approval of this solution, it would result in increased productivity and a decrease in disruptions within the store. There would be improvement in performance and productivity of employees. This will definitely increase sales through increased productivity and overall will keep the management and employees content.
