In the book ‘’Of Mice and Men’’ by John Steinbeck, Lennie one of the main characters in this book never gets to have his dreams come true. Lennies biggest dream was to tend to rabbits in his own home with George his best friend. George was so fed up with Lennie because he continues to kill things and do the wrong things. Lennie can not help that he is too strong for what he really is. Lennie killed bunnies back at his Aunts house and then he killed a puppy not meaning to do it and the worst one of all was when he killed Curley’s wife by snapping her neck. Lennie did not mean to harm anyone he just didn’t know his strength. George couldn’t handle this so he did what he thought was right and he killed Lennie himself before anyone else could. George found Lennie by the lake and put a gun to the back of his neck and shot him. Lennie never got to tend to the rabbits and live in his own house.

Lennie Small was a grown man with a mental problem. Lennie was very tall and cared about many everything. He was so in love with bunnies and always wanted to have one of his own. George Milton, Lennies best friend had said to Lennie we will get a house and have so many rabbits as long as they save up and get enough money. George told Lennie that he could tend to the rabbits and make sure they have everything they need. This dream never came true, Lennie never got to tend to rabbits like he wanted to.

Lennie was murdered by his best friend and his only friend, the only thing that was helping him get through life. George was Lennies killer and he would do anything for Lennie when he needed anything he went to George and asked for help and listened to George when he told him to do something. Lennie killed Curley’s wife and Curley wanted Lennie to be tortured for killing his wife. George didn’t want Lennie to go through that so he thought he was doing something right by killing right away and not having him suffer. George thought that killing Lennie with a gun better than...
