Introduction

In any business, new forms of technology and new ideas are going to be brought up in order to increase efficiency and production. Riordan Manufacturing is no different. In this case, Human Resources has decided to update their system. While it is simple to figure out what will happen with the system, the difficult portion comes when the new system must be implemented. There are a number of steps that must be taken in order to ensure the smooth transition and use of the new system.

Project Implementation

Project implementation will require the cooperation of the Human Resources department, Information Technology department and Finance department. Each stage of implementation will need to be discussed to present a clear picture of development progress. The implementation stage consists of six sub-phases, which are as follows: Coding, Testing, Installation, Documentation, Training, and Support. Each of these will be further discussed later in this paper.

Coding

Coding is the process through which the physical design specifications created by the design team are turned into a working computer code by the programming team. (Joseph S. Valacich, 2012) The programming team will use the existing human resources employee management system writing language to include the new employee management system features.
