The cashier will also normally issue a receipt for the transaction. Point of sale software and hardware that gives business owners a convenient way of checking out customers and of recording sales. It can keep a record

of the store , updating it when an service is processed and it can also printout receipt. POS systems will solve a multitude of problems in your business.

Background of the study

A Point of Sale System is a system which helps customers to make payment to the Merchant in exchange for services, and they normally issue receipts. Before the use of Point-of-sales system (POS) the manual method was employed in recording sales transactions. This method made use of paper and writing implement like pen and pencils, and calculators are used to compute the total amount of the service given to the customers. This research focuses on making a system that can help small business owners to process their services quickly and efficiently, therefore to provide entrepreneurs a well centered mindset for the progressive development of their business or company.

General Objectives

To accommodate the customers with computerized and systematic information in regards to the services that they avail with their respective prices and less time burden.
