The Dangers of Gun and Homicide Policies

Guns are one of our biggest weapons. With this type of control, it will cause severe damage and issues within our society. Issues such as death, injuries, and permanent destruction will be in an everlasting cycle. Millions of people are always wounded and our lives are dependent on the health, markets, developmental aid, and humans right since they’re disputed with people by guns (Control). There are about 875 million firearms in the world, about 75 percent of them are in the hands of a civilian (Carp). China, France, and Mexico are three countries which will have different comparisons and similar qualities. Guns are part of our nature, but we all need to feel protected in this type of dysfunctional society.

China has a history that can be dated back about 3,500 years (Uppsala). About 40,000,000 people in China have access to private owned firearms. In China, not every person has the legal right to a private owned firearm and license (Sherman). The rates in 2011 states that homicides per 100,000 people it is about 0.92 percent (Butchart)! The gun regulation in China is very strict. Civilians in China are allowed to carry regular handguns, but they are prohibited to carry any assault weapons, rifles, or anything else (Butchart). Even though gun regulations are strict, the number of deaths and injuries in China are still increasing to this day. When it comes to exports of firearms coming to China it’s limited due to transfer control (China). The limitations on firearms still doesn’t stop how much income and finances they spend. Any guy owner in China has to pass a background check to possess the rights to a license and a firearm (China). This is likely just for the protection of other civilians, but also to make sure the firearm user won’t misuse his rights.
