The National Aviation Plan

BIA hiring policy will helps the BIA in implementing the National Aviation Plan. Their missions is to support of wildland fire and prescribed fire operations, disaster response, animal census, habitat management, range survey, law enforcement, range land management, photo mapping and search and rescue. To do this, the aviation management organization in every office has to be developed and maintained at the most efficient level. Also, individual development, employee wellness and workforce diversity will be emphasized at all levels of the BIA aviation program. The BIA hiring policy helps to meet the mission requirement. For examples, they require a certified copy of a birth certificate and other official documentation to establish his or her relationship to his or her parent. If they hire more people from the similar or the same community will minimize the cultural differences. In addition, they may advice for their manager who is not familiar with the community and who needs to embrace about their cultural differences. Bureau of Indian Affairs (2009)

On the other hand, it might causes that isolating the small communities. Hiring more people from the same community has a beneficial to understand and communicate each other better, but it is also take away the chances for people to learn about them. It would be recommended limit the composition rate of employees. They can train and educate employees more and spend some time to give a chance to understand each other rather than separating from them.
