Heaven and Hell

Heaven and hell are two very different places, one is a place where there is no hatred and only love is promoted, and the other is pure pain and suffering. The bible says that we may end up in one of these places for eternity in the afterlife depending if we had done good or bad.

I have done some research regarding this topic in the school library. There is a particular book that seems to have gained my interest the most. I shall summarize, elaborate and reflect upon all these readings.

The book is entitled “A Divine Revelation of Heaven and Hell”. The book contains the experiences of the renowned author, Mary K. Baxter, and her spiritual experiences. She has said to have been in heaven and met angels, saints, souls, and even Jesus Christ himself. She has claimed that hate was nonexistent and no pain can ever be experienced. The book also shares her insights when she saw hell. Painful, agonizing and demeaning punishments and terrifying demons controlling the damned souls are few of the things she wrote in the book.

The occurrences written in the publication depicts of heaven being a place where optimistic and positive place as to hell being the complete opposite of the former.

After reading the literary work it has given an impactful effect on my spiritual belief and morality. First of all, my faith in God has gotten stronger since there is someone who actually has seen him. I mean, wouldn’t it make sense for me to believe in something that was reportedly true especially, now that it has a viable witness? I have also grown a more fearful measure for the afterlife. Being scared of wanting to go to hell and being motivated to go to heaven, has made me realize that, avoiding sinful actions is what’s best for all of us. Due to this I am trying my best to do acts of kindness or goodness, and make sure that I do everything in my power to follow the 10 commandments.
