The Arts Center of Cannon County, 1424 John Bragg Highway in Woodbury, sponsors "The Ultimate Oldies" on stage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Hear classics from the '50s, '60s and '70s. Enjoy the music of doo wop, rock 'n' roll girl groups, Motown, surf rock and the British Invasion, along with songs made popular by Elvis, the Beatles, Chuck Berry, the Beach Boys, Little Richard, the Crystals and Buddy Holly, just to name a few. Will the groundhog see his shadow? Will we have an early spring? Regardless of what the critter says, you can enjoy a Groundhog Day celebration at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Wilderness Station in Barfield Crescent Park, 697 Veterans Parkway in Murfreesboro. Enjoy groundhog stories and folklore, a puppet show, “underground” activities and make a craft. Then you can take a hike on the trails to look for any brave groundhogs that have woken up from their winter slumber. Activities are free for ages 3 to 8. Reservations are required. Contact the Wilderness Station at 615-217-3017 to reserve a spot. Center for the Arts, 110 W. College St. in Murfreesboro, presents "Into the Woods" on Friday through Sunday. Show times for this fairy tale mashup are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $11 for youth, $13 for students, military and seniors, and $15 for adults.

Linebaugh Library, 105 W. Vine St. in Murfreesboro, is hosting a Tech-Free Family Night at 6 p.m. Families are encouraged to unplug from their devices, read together, do crafts and play board games. Admission to this event is free. Call 615-893-4131 for more details.
