Unit 8.2 Draft

In order to ensure my services are of a consistently high standard, I will create a plan of the process behind providing them. This will help me to provide a good service for my customers throughout the life of my business. The services my business will offer will be provided by a variety of different, fully qualified beauticians and staff in my business. In order to be sufficiently qualified, a prospective employee must have a NVQ Level Three (or equivalent) qualification in Beauty Therapy/Practices. This will ensure that the services provided by my business are of a high and potentially unrivalled standard. Our services will range from massages to facials to nail treatments and this will help us appeal to a larger array of people, hopefully allowing us to increase our target market and enabling us to sell more services to a vast array of people. It would also be possible to create links between my business and those surrounding it which would benefit all businesses involved. The local gym, located in Darley Abbey Mills, is a business which is located next to the potential premises for my business with which we could offer joint packages. The use of saunas, hot tubs, and massages are popular among the larger gyms in the city, and my research into this business shows that this gym lacks such facilities - facilities which our business can provide. This may mean that we would be able to offer our services in conjunction with the gym located next door. In terms of the quantity of customers expected, my primary research shows that I can expect between 25-35 customers per week to begin with. My primary research also shows that clients would be willing to spend between £70 and £90 per visit. On average, this means I could make around £2,400 per week. To be able to serve this amount of customers is an achievable aim, with at least two beauty therapists working within the business.
