4-H~ Head, heart, hands and health. I pledge my head to clearer thinking, my heart to greater loyalty, my hands to larger service and my health for better living for my club my community my country and my world.~ I pledge my head to clearer thinking; through tobacco and alcohol projects to eating healthy to car teens to youth fair board this can give one clearer thought on how to make one's life better, long living and healthier. For me from 4-H projects, car teens and youth fair board 4-H has forever changed my life. You make connections with so many kinds of people that care about the same things you do, making the world a better place for younger generations to enjoy. My heart to greater loyalty; one is loyal to themselves, their club, other activities that mean more than others in a person's life. 4-H has been apart of my life since day 1. Both of my parents are dedicated 4-H advisors and all 3 of my siblings have been apart of 4-H since cloverbuds. My sister's kids are also apart of 4-H and get to enjoy the same things their parents enjoyed in 4-H. My hands to larger services; 4-H isn't just about doing projects, raising animals and the fair activities that 4-H kids take part in. Clubs from all around Gallia County take part in community service events, fundraisers and donating to various organizations. My health to better living for my club my community my country and my world; being at one's best for various activities makes it an enjoyable time for everyone. Without 4-H I have no idea where I would be today. Gallia County really needs a new fair ground, if anyone has questions regarding the levy and wants more information many people can tell you the truth, message me and I can try and get an answer.
