Public Vs Private Transportation

In the modern world, Transportation has become one of the basic needs to human life. Public transportation is the easiest mode in cities compared to using a car and waiting in traffic for a long time. Public transportation also enhances green life by reducing the pollution rate. The cost is also less in public transportation compared to private transportation. The maintenance cost for car and its insurance is expensive. Even though there are few disadvantages in private transportation, owning a car has become an essential thing, when we live in the outskirts of a city where public transportation is less. Compared to public transportation, private transportation has more benefits like convenience in seating facility, privacy for one’s desired activities and flexibility in travel.

One of the important factor while travelling is convenience. In public transportation, we cannot select our desired seat. We have to occupy one from the available seats. The seats may or may not be comfortable. We have to share the seats with strangers. Whether we like or dislike the people sitting near us, we have to adjust with them while travelling. If we are taking kids outside, the travel might become annoying with some of the kids activities. Sometimes, even strangers may stare at us differently. Our Parents may not be comfortable in bus travel. Also, it’s very hard to carry large luggage in bus after shopping. But, in private transportation, we can sit in our desired seat. We will be comfortable during the travel. Only our family members or friends are going to share the seats with us. So there is no necessity to adjust with the strangers.
