Read the ethical dilemma and solve the following discussion question:

a. What should John do?

He shouldn´t sell their product because in America market is very delicate and according to law it is now notified their product does not have restrictions for sale. Another option could be that the toy should focus on children 0-3 years, as are those who could not break the toy and so distance himself from blame in the event of a lawsuit, but this would not be ethically correct, because we know that most customers do not respect the age range in order to use the toy.

The cycle applies because Regal Marine they have to produce for introduce in the market a new products, and those products have a life cycle, because the customer needs are changing. As the video indicates the length of the boat it is less than 5 years, but is long compared to other devices like the cell that are constantly changing

c. How does Regal Marine’s product strategy provide competitive advantage?

Frequently get in a new products with new innovations and new styling to stay competitive in the market. And see the needs of the boat market

d. How should other areas of Regal Marine (marketing, finance, personnel) support its product strategy?

I think Regal Marine can applies the finance in the cost to produce the boat and the time to use in the production and manufacturing.

e. What do you recommend to Regal Marine for increasing its competitive advantage?

For increase the competitive advantage the can choose the right components and for cast what you need to get the new product in production
