XXXXXXX has decided to expand its current global operations into the country of Kava. Kava is an island in the South pacific, which is comprised of South Pacific tribes, African, Asian, French, Spanish and Americans. With the diverse ethnic mix it brings with it a mix of languages the most difficult being from many different indigenous tribes. Of the diverse group of people 50% of the population is under the age of 15. There are also many natural threats of which include typhoons, tidal waves, tornadoes, fires, volcanoes, and earthquakes. Other risks include HIV/AIDS, avian flu, petroleum spills, and terrorism. The Government has asked us to assist them with their social needs. The government understands that of company will bring some stability, as well as an effective, organized much needed structure.

The economy does offer many advantages to a new business in the area. Some of the current economic trade and advantages include petroleum, coffee, cocoa, spices, bananas, sugar, tourism, fishing, natural gas, and inexpensive quality labor. All of these businesses have a need to have an accessible company to provide computers, software, and office supplies to operate in their day-to-day activities

Organizational

The employees currently deployed to Kava are Alex the Director of Strategic Planning, which has the reputation of being very experienced, demanding, and an influential executive. Nik a new hire, as well as a new collage graduate to the company who is expected to bring in new critical thinking ideas to the Kava expansion. The first order of business will be the initial hiring which will assist us with the initial set up of the office. Once we have a secretary in place, he or she can organize and run the office. This will allow Alex to work on our entry strategy. We should also set up a team to clean the street and the area around the trailer to show the community that we are here to help.
