Introduction
There are many variations with employees in the workplace, which provides a challenge for managers to try and create a work environment susceptible to quality work performance by individuals and teams. Each individual is inherently different, therefore, the means of motivation will be different as well. In accordance with this, it is significant for managers to develop a plan that can be measured and implemented to motivate performance amongst the workers. To accomplish such a plan, assessments must be completed so that the manager can become more familiarized with the values, traits, and personalities of the different individuals in the group. Using the results of the assessment will allow the manager to better manage his or her employees. The report will also illustrate how to keep the workers motivated and satisfied in achieving organizational goals. Furthermore, it will highlight key differences within the team that can be utilized for the improvement of team dynamics.
Jungian Personality
For the individuals in the working group “c”, there was a use of several assessments to measure emotional intelligence, values, and attitudes. All of these factors are imperative in monitoring the overall job satisfaction of the employees. The assessments can be combined to provide a dynamic view of each team member. The first assessment used identifies personality styles of the group. In group C there were 3 different personality styles among the 4 participants. The personality style attributed to two of the members is known as ENTP. The ENTP personality has been described as the innovator, the originator, the lawyer, the inventor, the explorer, and the visionary.
