Part 1: Introduction and ethical foundation: This includes knowledge, skills, and liabilities to incorporate values and principles that distinguish right from wrong when making decisions and choosing behaviors. This is important because often employees and managers face ethical dilemmas in which decision must be made that involves multiple values.

Part 2: The individual in organization: Because an individual is the starting point for organizational effectiveness, understanding them is crucial because their activities, and behavior toward others effect the work environment. Both internal and external behavior factors shape a person’s behavior on the job.

Part 3: Leadership and team behaviors: Effective organizations have leaders who integrate customers, employee, and organizational goals. Their ability to reach their goals depends on the degree to which leadership abilities and styles enable managers and team leader to plan, organize, control, influence, and act effectively.

Part 4: The organization: It is set of shared assumptions and understandings about how things really work – that is, policies, practices, and norms – that are important to supporting, or perhaps diminishing, individual, team, or organizational effectiveness. All employees must clearly understand their jobs and presents some designs that facilitate organizational goals.

Ethics: It occurs when a decision must be made that involves multiple values:

Self: This includes knowledge, skills, and abilities to work on personal strengths and weaknesses. It is also a pursuit for maintaining, moreover balancing professional and personal goals, as well as engaging in new learning experiences.

Diversity: This is to value each individual as a unique asset to the organization, and embrace their characteristics as potential source of strength, moreover appreciate the uniqueness of each.
