Research Strategy

My wife and I are hardworking individuals who like to enjoy life together with our families. The activities chosen are always faced with a monetary constraint determining the level of joy attained as a family. The main problem has been attributed to the level of income our family brings in as a whole. The factors directly involved with our problem are the level of education, viable work experience, and the current economy. To put things into better perspective I am using my life experiences along with the information I have accumulated to date.

After five years in the United States Army I transitioned back to civilian life finding part time employment while attending a local two year college. I finished my associate’s degree which exhausted most of my Montgomery G.I. Bill and College Fund tuition reimbursement. I then decided to look for full time work and move out of my parent’s home. With the combination of a two year degree combined with my military and civilian work experience I found decent employment. Looking back at the past 10 years I would like to say that the positions I held seemed more like a means to an end.

Over the past eight years, I tried my hand at owning my own business much like Entrepreneur Richard Branson of United Kingdom based Virgin Records. A few years ago I recall watching a special on Richard Branson and found out that he did not have a formal education. I could also use my Step Father as an example as he earns a six figure income with little education and years of experience. My business has never truly taken off given the niche of automotive performance and repair is flooded with a large number of companies. My business has been confined to internet sales and working out of my home office due to the limited amount of customers acquired.
