Computer Input-Output Technologies that Link Pilots and Air Traffic Controller
Computer Input-Output Technologies is one of the most important things today.
Without it, we would remain virtually stagnant in terms of improving travel, safety, and
pilot related awareness. Thankfully, we have made those improvements in strides. The first of which links pilots and air traffic controllers. By upgrading and using new technological equipment, we link controllers with pilots more effectively. This results in travel becoming smother and even more reliable than it was in the past. In the upcoming portions of this paper, we will delve into these advancements. While at the same time taking a look into what possible negative effects such improvements could have on the industry.
The core of this technology is the CPDLC. It is a piece of equipment which gives the pilot and air traffic controller a more effective means to operate. Over the course of the next few paragraphs, we will go through what makes this one of the greatest improvements to air travel.
I challenge you to open your mind and think if some of these updates have had an impact on some of your travels. If so were they recent? If they were can you recall which country(s) were involved?
I recognized CPDLC or the Controller–Pilot Data Link Communication in actual terms, as a piece of equipment in the cockpit which improves the pilots interaction with the tower or air traffic controllers.. It is a form of data link communications which enable the pilot and air traffic controller to communicate with one another, without fear of the transmission being “stepped on” (talked over) during communication. It is a next generation piece of technology that enables the pilot and controller to communicate on an alternate channel via text based communications. In today’s setting, pilots have a set number of frequencies in which they may relay information to the tower. With the addition of this little magic...
