There was once a boy, who always doubted himself, thinking that he was not good enough for the greater things in life. Every time he sees someone/thing he likes, he will lament and say, " If I am just good enough..." But one day he met a wise Chinese master sifu in a old Indian temple. From the moment the boy walked in and sat down, the master sifu saw a vision, a vision where this boy will have greatness oozing all over his body. Master sifu walk up to the boy and told him about the vision. However, the boy snarled and replied, "You must be dreaming, I am nothing close to that person in your vision." Then Master sifu realized that what the boy lacks was self-confidence and told him a story. "You know, all the precious gems in the world are not lying around in plain sight, but hidden deep inside the ground, covered with rocks and dirt, and compounded in ores. In order to find those gems, one must dig deep into the deep realm of the Earth, wash away the dirt, and refine the ores through the flames. And then the precious gems will be found. You, my boy, are like the gems. You may not see yourself as one, but when you find the confidence to realize you strengths and the motivation to polish off your weakness, then you will realize you are a gem, a ruby." After hearing all this, the boy's eyes glimmered with hope and was filled a new found strength and confidence towards himself. "Thank you Master sifu!" said the boy, with his most earnest and grateful tone. Before the boy was about to leave, Master sifu stood up and stretched his arms towards the boy, in some sort of ritual like blessing, said, "You have heed my words and put them in your heart. You have found power in my words and trusted in them. From this day forward, you will be named Rubeeyo, in remembrance of the precious gem, ruby. Now go forth and be awesome, Rubeeyo Tam Jian Ying!" Henceforth, the boy would not be the lowly little boy he used to be, but the great RUBEEYO TAM of awesomeness. And he got married...
