The internet plays a major role in people's everyday lives and the World Wide Web allows you to be able to see multimedia instead of just text. Almost anywhere you or someone else goes, there's a computer or even a smartphone with internet capabilities. The internet with a search engine allows one to easily research topics for papers they are doing, play games, and many other things. They even have specialized search engines for scholarly articles if you really want to find good information for a paper you are going to write. Not only can you do research and play games on the internet, but you can even do online banking, watch videos, and even stream live feed to other people's computer so they can watch you do some sort of activity.
