General Motors Business Analysis

In the next three to five years General Motors will still be paying back the United States government. They will not be able to get enough money from consumers because of all the other car companies, such as Toyota and Honda who are currently dominating the market for better cost and fuel efficient cars. GM also has to pay back Canada and the Ontario Province. A recommendation is that they settle an agreement with the United Auto Workers Union to have a choice with each individual plant of whether the plant is unionized or not unionized. The company needs to come out with more advertising and reach out to the consumers more. Local dealerships can host community events and win back their trust as one of the great car company. They need to work faster on newer eco friendly vehicles as well.
