The movie was composed of many documented events narrated and discussed by the former U.S Vice President Al Gore. The data gathered and the trends of different climatological graphs were well introduced to the public for better comprehension. The documentary also provided a deeper understanding regarding the most sensitive issue about the environment which is the Global Warming.

It was alarming to see the various effects of the dramatic increase in carbon emissions by the world since carbon is one of the many greenhouse gasses present in the atmosphere that actively participates to the rapid warming of Earth resulting to the global rise in temperature. Together with this, many catastrophic events were said to start intensifying resulting to many losses for instance, Hurricane Katrina, the largest and most destructible storm that occurred in the U.S in 2005,recording a huge number of victims and millions of dollars in damage. The quick build-up of the said category 5 storm was seen in rapid pace due to its movement to the unusually warm waters of the Loop Current; again, temperature has something to do directly with the said phenomenon.

Based on the movie, it showed the facts of the differences of Earth's topography and nature nowadays compared to the times long ago. The differences of the facts were caused by this intriguing global warming that alarmed all the people in the world. This global warming is the result of the gradual increase of greenhouse gases in the ozone layer, thus trapping the sun's heat in the earth's atmosphere. These greenhouse gases result from human activities like fossil fuel burning, and deforestation. By this, we cans see results like the melting of glaciers, permafrost, extreme weather events, species extinctions, changes in nature, and etc
