Choosing MEXICO

I. What pertinent aspects of U.S. law should the company be aware of in its goal to do business internationally?

a. North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) – enacted in 1994 and created a free trade zone for Mexico, Canada, and the United States. ("Doing Business In Mexico," 2015, para. 1)

b. Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) – Signed 2/4/16, with U.S. and Mexican participation. Both countries seek to boost economic growth by increasing exports in a region that represent more than 40% of global trade.
