Describe the small line of business (LOB).

As a small business disabled veteran working with recruiters, my desire is to equip them with backpacks for their laptops that will serve as a charging station as well as provide the ability to be mobile and still put individuals in boots. This business qualifies with the Department of Veteran Affairs…71 % of this business is owned by people with disabilities. The demand for such a product is ever increasing due to the mobilization of recruiters and processing of individuals. These backpacks have been requested by personnel that are traveling around the globe to recruit civilians for the military (SBA, 2014).

Federal Government Procurement Plan

Backpack contracts are established with companies like UNICOR to supply backpacks and other items like furniture to the government according to the requirements of the FAR and the Federal Veteran Department to support small business and 20 percent of these contracts are the responsibility of service disabled veteran owned businesses and other minorities. My business can fulfill 50% of the requirement (Fiscal Year, 2014). Employees can hard work to fulfill the requirements of this contract in order to fulfill an ongoing requirement in an ever-changing recruiting world. Vendors for backpacks are contracted through veterans integrated service networks also known as VISN. My business is in VISN 12 and is established in Detroit and more accurately in acquisition area of great lakes (VISN 12, 2013).

Current Strategies and Strategic Success

Many vendors belong to this area. I am too a veteran and can easily earn more from this business just like the other businessmen by applying same strategic planning and other procedures.
