Overhead crane is a very heavy duty crane, normally used by larger manufacturers and steel warehouses. Double girder overhead bridge cranes are an excellent choice where high speeds and heavy service are required. Double girder cranes are highly suitable for applications requiring walkways, lights and other special equipment.

Overhead Crane introduction

Overhead crane has such features as tight dimension, low building headroom, light dead weight and light wheel load. They are applicable to be the transfer, assembly, check and repair as well as load and unload at mechanic processing workshop, subsidiary workshop of metallurgical mills, warehouses, goods yard and power station. The Working ambient temperature is generally -25 to 40 Centigrade.

Two operating method, namely, on floor and in the driver's cabin, have been designed for such kind of crane. The cabin is divided into open-style and closed style. The cabin can be installed on the left or right according to actual conditions. The operator can enter the cabin from one side, rear or top, which depends on the different user's requirements.

1.QD overhead crane with hook is the most widely used indoor crane. Its typical characters are: two main girders; hoisting mechanism is trolley.

2.QD crane is a general bridge crane, the mother of double girder overhead crane. Other special double girder bridge crane are all designed or modified on basis of this QD crane.

3.QD crane is normally divided into 4 working group as per utilization frequency and load condition: A5, A6 , A7, A8.

4.Operation is done inside Cabinet or by remote control.

5.Cabinet could be entered by ladders attached to wall, main girder or ground.

6.Power is supplied through safety sliding conductor or angle iron.
