Migration, as defined by (ecanta encyclopedia for student,2009) as “the movement of people, especially of whole group, from one place, region or country to another, particularly with the intension of making permanent settlement in a new and comfortable location.” They did so because they were not comfortable with their present prevailing conditions but modern day’s migration reveals that people relinquish their place of residence to labour and become more responsible immigrants. The rate at which cultural, social, economic and environmental crisis occur do play an essential role in migration becoming much frequent; thus resurrects the need to analyze its causes and effects on the African continent. Also, poor working conditions in African countries induce people to migrate from their home countries in Africa to the western world with the rationale of seeking greener pastures. This has the capacity of causing the African continent to lose its labour force which pose serious developmental problems to the African continent.

High rate of migration in Africa from timeworn has been invigorated by macro economic factors. The economic factors embraces unemployment , high inflation rates, poor medical care, low income and savings and several other. To expound further, the rate of unemployment in parts of Africa and Africa in generally is very high. As a result, the large unoccupied labour force moves into places of greener pastures and better living conditions. In point of fact, the African societies are undeveloped due to several reasons.
