CHAPTER 1
BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
This chapter presents the introduction that there might be a lot of meaning about this topic, also presents the statement objectives on the effectiveness and appropriateness of the advertising line “Nakasisiguro Gamot ay Laging Bago” of Mercury Drug Store, and lastly the stude endeavors to answer the given/following research objectives.
Introduction
There might be a lot of meaning about advertisement cited by different experts, it still come up with the definition as “it being a commercial solicitation designed to sell some commodity, service or similar”. It is an advertisement is a form of reputation for a company or a brand. It is what a company uses to sell out their product. But as what Bryan Koslow stated, "There is no advertisement as powerful as positive reputation travelling fast.” It means that advertisement creates a new name or an image for a company or a product. It will just be effective if the said advertisement creates a positive name or image for the product. It always works this way and it always sums up to a positive result.
Advertising has a great impact to society. It has an effect to customers and buyers that’s why many companies tend to advertise trial products. The more effective the advertising is, the better.
