Nowadays, there are many kinds of banks around us such as Maybank, AmBank, Public Bank, Bank Islam and so on. Besides that, all of the banks provide similar services to all of us. But what are the reasons that cause consumer to choose a bank? Or there are somethings else been offered by the bank to attract their consumers?

Objectives of this project

1) To study the consumer decision process toward choosing a bank.

2) To study the differences between Maybank, Public Bank and Bank Islam.

3) To study how culture affects consumer behaviour toward choosing a bank.

The reasons we do a research on this project is because of our curiosity and to look for the answers for the questions above. Other than that, we are also curious about the differences between each bank.

Methodology

In order to study consumer behaviour toward bank, we decided to use the data collection methods that we had learned in Consumer Behaviour to collect the data such as observation, survey and interview with the consumers. Our target respondents will 50 UNIMAS students from different age, faculty and gender. After collecting the data, we will conduct a marketing research which we will analyse and interpret data relevant to marketing problems and consumer behaviour.
