The tasks that an internal and frontline computer support technician completes will have some differences but it’s important to first identify what each one does. The internal support technician handles the company’s IT support. They are working with the employees that are employed at the specific address. With the frontline computer support technician he is dealing with the customers who are either using software, hardware, or services from the company. Although on the outside these two positions can seem similar there are differences between the two. The fallowing paper will discuss the different tasks required as well as how it effects the level of employee satisfaction and what factors are involved in satisfying the employee.

When looking at an internal computer support technician it is important to point out that even though they are not directly working with exterior clients there must still be the same level of customer service involved. An Internal computer support technician will be working directly with the employees of the company. There tasks will be to keep the operating systems within the company working properly. This might be working with the front desk personal to make sure their system is working optimally as well as keeping all systems updated and protected. They will need to be able to trouble shoot problems with the hardware as well as upgrading and installing hardware and software. There main task is to keep the companies IT systems working at the best level they can.

The frontline computer support technician is responsible for working with customers of the company. There main task is to work with the customers solving the issues that can come up with our services.
