In 1998 Kathy Kudler opened up her first Kudler Fine Foods in La Jolla, CA, a location created for those individuals who were tired of travelling to multiple locations to create a simple meal. Her vision of a store in which there was a wide selection of fresh ingredients and all the tools needed for a gourmet dish in one location became a reality. Ms. Kudler did not stop there, she began to open up another location in Delmar, and another in Encinitas in 2003 ("Kudler Fine Foods", 2016). So the thought of Ms. Kudler wanting to expand her business and give back to those loyal customers should not come as a surprise.

There has been a new expansion request on the behalf of Kudler Fine Foods and this new request is for those loyal customers who have made Kudler Fine Foods a success. Kudler Fine Foods will be implementing a new information system that will monitor and keep track of all customer’s purchases so they can be rewarded for their loyalty. This new incentive program will be referred to as the Kudler Fine Foods Frequent Shopper Program. The goal of this new project is to not only give back to those who have been loyal and will become loyal but to show our appreciation. We will be teaming up with third party vendors and offering various different types of incentives and rewards through the tracking and accumulation of loyalty points.

The stakeholders involved with helping provide us with the feedback to get this new system up and running will be the cashiers, stockers, middle management, sales and marketing team, third-party partnerships, IT department, local customers, and of course our loyal customers. These individuals have been chosen because they are the ones who are have and will have the most contact with the new system, so we want this to be as pleasant for them as possible.
