Acuutane
The product I choose to write about is called Accutane. This is a drug that is used to remove acne and can only be received by getting a prescription from your dermatologist. The medicine does wonders but also has dangerous side effects, I know this from experience. I will go into more detail regarding what Accutane really is and how it helped change people’s lives but ruined some on the way.
Accutane is known to be a very dangerous drug. It treats a type of severe acne called nodular acne it is used after other treatments, including antibiotics, have not helped. Some of the side effects can be depression, suicide, birth defects if you are pregnant during the treatment or a few months after the treatment, Psychosis, serious brain problems because of increase pressure in your head and etc. (IPLEDGE 8, 13) IPLEDGE came around only in March 1, 2006 to warn us about the side effects and have us monitored in the system to make sure our body can withhold the medication even though the product itself was around since 1982.
One of the articles I found about Accutane was called “Accutane Medication Blamed In Girlfriends Killing”. The article is about a boy named John Mullarke and how he killed his girlfriend Demi Cuccia by stabbing her 16 times and slicing himself. They are trying to say it was the drugs that made him...
