processes such as annealing, hardening, and quenching and brazing and carburizing. In vacuum heat

treatment, the absence of air and other gases in the furnace prevents heat transfer due to convection.

This eliminates the possibility of contamination. In addition, the vacuum heat treated parts have

excellent surface finishing.
