Strategy Philanthropy for the Grove in Orono

The Grove Apartments in Orono are an apartment complex mainly for UMaine students, where it only takes five-minute drive to campus. The complex is famous for its “second to none” lifestyle. It offers its residents a lot of options for outsider activities, such as an outdoor fireplace, a resort-style pool, a basketball court, and even a sand volleyball court. Also, the Grove has a computer lab, a tavern-style game room, indoor tanning and a 24-hour fitness center for its residents. The Grove creates heartening and wonderful college experiences for students and their friends.

There is a huge difference between the Grove and other student apartments or communities. Most student apartments or communities, such as the Orchard Trails or the Stillwater, don’t allow their residents to keep dogs, even cats, while the Grove allows. Being pet-friendly with it’s great lifestyle, the Grove became one of the best student apartments around the University of Maine.

I’ve been a resident at the Grove for almost three years. No question that I love this place because of its great lifestyle. It also brings me a lot of convenience. For instance, the complex is on the bus route, which helped me a lot when I didn’t have a car 2 years ago. I took the bus everyday and didn’t miss any class when I was a freshman at the UMaine. Also, I didn’t have to go the Student Recreation and Fitness Center at the UMaine to do exercise anymore because of the 24-hour fitness center. And there are washer and dryer in every apartment, which saves me a lot of time doing laundry outside the complex. Every apartment is fully furnished. It saved me a lot of money on purchasing furniture.

Personally, I love dogs even though I don’t have a dog. However, thanks to the Grove, I’ve lived with dog all the time since I moved here. One of my ex-roommates has two...
