It comes as no revelation that achieving financial and economic success is an endeavor in itself that many, if not all people must encounter. As proven by the half-baked economy of the United States; as inflation has increased the necessity, as well as the social awareness of the competition for jobs has increased. Over the years, America has progressively shone a light on the prerequisite of education. Along with the essentiality of education appears the talk of college. College has become a controversial affair wherein the question of its’ necessity when handling the real world, as well as the financial situation many college graduates find themselves to be in is referred to. So the inquiry is; is a college education worth the cost? To respond; a college education is unequivocally worth the cost.

A logicality that abuts the indisputable concurrence of a college education being worth the cost is the access to the development of behavior, problem- evaluation and a proper work ethic that is ensured to college graduates. Source B (Michael) supports this claim as delineated within the article where he states “The development of the capacities for critical inquiry associated with liberal learning can be enormously practical because they become resources on which to draw for continual learning, for making decisions in one’s life, and for making a difference in the world”; when discussing the importance of a liberal arts education. According to this article; college allows people to experience freedom; the freedom of experimentation, risk-taking, to make wise decisions, to solve problems and work productively in the real world.
