“Life Without I.T.”

Nowadays, people rely too much on I.T., we have got used to life with I.T., and so it is hard to live without I.T. However, is I.T. entirely beneficial to us? Without I.T., would we not be able to do anything? I do not think so.

In fact, I.T. has help and hurt to us at the same time.

It is true that I.T. helps us spread news more quickly, and it is more also convenient to find information by using I.T. However, I.T. also lets biased and offensive speeches to be spread easier. Due to the rapid development of I.T., websites like Facebook and Weibo, allow people to express their own opinion, while some use it to care about others and gather supporter, I.T. is also used for malicious assault and cynicism. Therefore, I.T. is not solely good, but a life without IT is not bad at all.

On the other hand, I.T. has made human relations become more indifferent. No doubt that I.T. facilitates the communication between people who are separated by distance, but this also encourages people to communicate with it even they are just two meters away. For example, when I enter a restaurant, I just see the majority of patron looking down and using their mobile phones, they seldom talk to others but send text messages to each other. Therefore, I.T. can enhance the communication between two people who are far away, but not between families and friends around you. As to solve this problem, I think we should retrogress to the past without I.T. At least the relationship between people is closer.

IT has advantages and also disadvantages, and these can be determined out by how humans use it. The importance and benefits of I.T. is obvious and noticeable, but the harm and negative impacts of I.T. is more worthy of human attention. People are often too busy enjoying the convenience brought by I.T., neglected everything out the cyber world.
