Introduction

For me, my experience (Project Manager at COWI Qatar) and leaders have taught me the definition of leadership involves focusing efforts of the team or group toward common directives, enabling team work. Leadership is the ability to influence others to get certain things accomplished. The key elements to effective leadership rely on respect and trust. The crucial of success is interdependent on the appropriate communication of vision, and purpose; in essence, inspiring other stakeholder participants to achieve a higher performance.

Definition of Leadership and its Concepts

The definition of leadership understands effective communication creates a bridge between diverse stakeholders; by connecting various cultures, different levels of expertise and of course various perspectives; by recognizes generating the interest in a successful outcome rest on the principles of leadership and its complex interplay of communication “nodes” throughout the organizational environment. The most important aspects I was taught is when leaders lead, then the responsibility of establishing and utilizing strategy, vision and communications builds the team through: influencing, mentoring, monitoring and evaluating team project performance in any organizational environment.

There are strategic leadership objectives that personify being a Leader. Organization excellence is built on the bed-rock of preventing determinants of leadership effectiveness through proper styles of leadership and various communication tactics for leadership. These intrinsically build effective relationships through the understanding of knowledge values - that underscore a commitment to communication management in partnership with using critical analysis abilities.
