This week I have learnt a lot about reading and writing. We had read an article about kangaroo and Mena told us how to highlight writers’ opinion for ‘For’and‘Against’, which is very useful. One of my achievement is that I learned how to analyse author’s purpose and auttitude about one thing. Also I collected lots of vocabulary. We also learned how to use symbols and abbreviations which I need to pick up the key words when listening a lecture and taking notes. We also listened a lecture and I found it too difficult for me follow lecturers. Truthly, I felt a little disappointed for myself, so I decide to watch a video everyday. We also studied grammar for writing, which is the worst part of my study, because it is very boring and difficult, but I kown I have to work it out, so I am going to find a grammar book and learn it systematically.In addition, I worked with my group to prepare our presentation and learnt some presentation skills. We confirmed our topic and found some information, I think it was a very interesting process, and the menmbers in mu team are intelligent, we shared a lot of opinions together, I enjoy the group work very much.

This week I tryed to read the Englih news, but now, I still feel a little bit hard, I think it is just because I do not have enough vocabulary. I know vocabulary is the foundation of learning a language, so my first job is to improve it.

The teaching models between China and Australia are totally different, I feel I am being adapt to this model in Australia.Dependent learning and indepenfent learning are all very important to us. In a word, it is a very fulfilling week.
