There are many reasons why it is important to be on time, as well as to be early. there also almost just as many negative effects being late could have on a person.

One of the reasons it is important to be on time is that we must be accounted for here in the military. When we are accounted for it is to for our safety and to be sure no one is missing and slacking off. It is important that we are accounted for being on time for many reasons. One being that it looks good that you show up where you need to be, when you need to be there. The second being this keeps you out of the most trouble as long as you made it on time. Though it is recomended to show up early as this will give you even less of a chance to become late and keep you on time no matter what.

Another reason to be on time is that one could recieve information that soomeone else did not, all simply cause they showed up late. As an example if someone showed up to their meeting on time there is a higher chance the will know more of what is going on than someone who shows up late, as the person who is late will most likely will not understand fully wha is going on.

It does not matterwhich branch one might be as it will and does apply to every person. When a person is not accounted for it can lead to the fact that something may have happened to them or simply they are assumed of abandoning their duties or being lazy.
