1. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The use of alcoholic beverage in the domestic market of Nepal is a common practice in our culture. Some of the cultures also prepare their own homemade alcoholic liquor, namely; local raksi, Aila, Thomba, Chhaang etc, while others prefer consuming branded liquors manufactured inside the country and abroad.

The consumption rate of homemade liquor is tough to obtain, however, the consumption rate of bottled liquor which are manufactured in large scale for commercial purpose can be acquired and analyzed. Also the analysis of one of the domestic liquor manufacturing company can be performed to know the position of unit in the industry.

Whiskey is one of the most consumed alcohol beverage. Amongst the competitive market in the alcohol market the use of domestic manufactured whiskey and sustainability in the market along with the share in the market is a crucial aspect to analyze. In the long run company with good financial health and competitive advantage over its competitors can ensure the long future growth of the company.

This study is an analysis of one of the local whiskey manufacturing company of the country.
