Reflection on the topic of: Creating a Worksheet and Charting Data for Ethics, Copyright and Intellectual property Rights

The above mentioned topic mainly focused on the use of Microsoft Excel to perform different financial calculations. After going through this topic, my knowledge and awareness concerning the operations, functions and tasks that can be performed using Microsoft Excel really increased and this also increased my interest in using this software to complete different tasks in my day to day life.

Now that I know the wide range of things that can be done using this software, I have a different view when it comes to the importance and uses of this software. Before I went through this topic, I regarded it as something of less importance to me because I didn’t know much of its uses.

This topic is of great significance to me because I came to realize that Microsoft Excel can perform a lot of financial calculations without spending much time and effort. This has impacted my personal life because I can use this software when I want to make a decision in terms of borrowing money or investing in some type of a business. I also found this software as a great tool for in accounting and book keeping because of its capability to perform financial calculations and presenting information in charts so that the information can be easily understood by more people.

With the knowledge and skills that I acquired from this topic, I now have the confidence to volunteer as a Bookkeeper for different social groups like churches and youth clubs in the community because now I know that it won’t cost me much time and effort to maintain the proper records and to present any information required by the stakeholders of these social groups.

Before going through this topic of the module I thought the module was irrelevant for my qualification but after I went through this topic I came to realize that this module is very relevant and it also makes it easier for me to understand...
