  Lead team to develop and execute a mission-aligned vision for the work unit and create a positive and safe work environment.

         Identify staffing requirements to ensure the availability of qualified staff to meet programs and projects requirements.

         Interpret procurement policies and regulations to support operations.

         Develop procurement policies for use by other contracting personnel to solve procurement problems.

         Advise management on matters pertaining to contracting policies and procedures and Federal contracting laws and regulations to promote innovative contracting planning and execution.
