Water Pollution

People and or individuals need to know how to utilize water and reduce water pollution. Water pollution has been around for a very long time. Our citizens have not taken this issue or problem very seriously. Or at least not important enough to find out why is the need so great. Water is the most important and natural resource that is on the plant or earth. Life on earth would be useless without having the proper amount of healthy or the best water. We as humans see the importance and need but push aside the problems by pollution our oceans, rivers, and lakes. Water pollution derived from improper usage of water and the impure substances that were dumped in the oceans, lakes and rivers that are harmful to all living things. My plan for sustaining water pollution in our community would be to gather information to educate the public on what is best for them.

One of the action items that will be implemented is educating the citizens about water pollution. We will have meetings, power points, researchers, county commissioners to come and speak about water pollution and the problems that arise in our community. The literature would help guide the people about the effects that water pollution has towards their health. Also, providing websites and tutorials incase some individuals are not able to commit coming to the meetings. Our drinking water is affected enormously because of the bad chemical and toxins being thrown in our water. Suspended particles can reduce the amount of sunlight penetrating the water and stunting the growth of plants. Acid rain can destroy and kill the marine life in rivers and lakes. Industrial waste causes immune system problems and reproductive failure when eating certain animals from the water.
