International Tourism Personal Reflection

The reflection of the ideas as well as tasks from our group work has made me realise that I work well within a group of people that I am at ease with however that also has its disadvantages. Also I was able to see that although we were working within a group I was still able to take initiative. For we were in the process of writing up our questionnaire I took it up on myself to share my ideas of the questions that I thought it was appropriate to ask the residents and wrote the questions done in order once my team mates agreed. Which I am very proud of myself of doing so otherwise we could have spent more time on the questions which in my opinion was the easiest park but also the most vital.

Once the questionnaire was developed with the input of all team members we were then able to check to see which questions exactly needed to be changed or whether it was all appropriate with the Lecturer, we then found out that some of the questions were closed questions which could have across to residents as inappropriate questions which could of lead them to not wanting to answer the rest of the questions. It was very beneficial due to the fact that we were able to receive some feedback on areas we could improve which then allow us to then improve our questionnaire.

Personally, I am very appreciative of the fact that as a group and individually we all worked well together. Especially after once the work that needed to be completed was distributed in between us it made the work much easier to do as we all knew what we were doing.

Individually I believe that I contributed in terms of doing the work. However, there are areas which I could of have worked better on such as not being the last one to submit the work on the deadline that we had set ourselves. This for me was hard to do because although had an idea of what needed to be done I also was clueless of how I was going to accomplish it, so I was the glad it was a group where I am able to verify with my other team mates...
