Abstract

High speed transportation is the technology used in transportation infrastructure across the globe. This project will explore the different parts of this technology, first by defining what is high speed transportation, then looking at the history that led to the development of modern transportation. The impact this technology had in parts of the globe will be next. Afterward overall environmental impact will be explained, followed by the new education requirements for operation of high speed trains. The next section is on the development tourism through transportation. There will be an exploration of psychological phobias and conditions unique to transportation technology. The philosophy, morals, and ethics surrounding transportation technology will follow. The final sections are on the future of transportation, through growing opportunities, development of new vehicles, alternative energies, and plans to expand transportation across nations.
