Water pollution is water that is unusable due to unfavorable effects the water consists. Major changes happen to the ecological condition and water quality due to water pollution. Things like pathogens, chemicals and altering the physical chemistry of water are what water may consist of when polluted. Industry waist can cause water pollution, waist such as solids, nutrients, oils, organic toxins, resin pellets, heavy metals, and organic wastes like discharges from power stations and silt bearing runoff from Agriculture, sewage, deforestation and construction sites. Eutrophication is caused by increased water pollution, this involves the chemical nutrients such as or phosphorus or nitrogen to increase to a level that is unacceptable in the body of water. This also results in decay and excessive plant growth, which leads to excessive plant growth and the depletion of oxygen in water. This affects the animals that call the water home, like fish.

My plan requires management of water resources and a comprehensive planning to help fight against these issues. Collaboration between governments, civil society, and businesses is needed to create a sustainable water management. Not one of the sectors can deliver this alone. The first thing that needs to be done is research and identify the effects brought on by water pollution, the areas that are threatened by pollution needs to be identified and identify the land-based sources that have potential to produce such pollution. To assist with this a person can review environmental journals and websites; these should document the water pollution sources including health and environmental effects of water and interviews of environmental researchers. This takes one to three months. The second thing needed is a educational program to show why this program is greatly needed.
