This essay is over the correct uniforms of the United States Army and the correct time to be in these uniforms. There are two separate uniforms that are authorized during a normal work day. Now there are separate uniforms that are used when needed but those are for certain situations. EX- hostile environments or hazards areas require certain equipment such as an advanced combat helmet or an IOTV. There are other situations like NBC environment that requires us to wear the proper uniform to protect you from certain weapons and chemicals.

Starting with ACU’s, the components of this uniform consists of a patrol cap, a blouse, trousers, tan t-shirt, underwear, and green or black socks and also the authorized combat boots. And as said in the AR 670-1 “(1) All personnel will maintain a high standard of professional dress and appearance. Uniforms will fit properly; the

proper fitting of uniforms is provided in DA Pam 670–1. Personnel must keep uniforms clean, serviceable, and roll pressed,as necessary. Soldiers must project a military image that leaves no doubt that they live by a common military standard and uphold military order and discipline.” All uniforms no matter which one must look good and as professional as possible. But there are rules on things you can and can’t wear while in uniform such as civilian articles and other accessories not authorized by your chain of command.
