Introduction

The domain of work has undergone a profound change in all over the world. There has been a remarkable rise in female labor force participation across all employment sectors. Among the Fortune Company, 10 now are run by women up from last 9 year, and of the Fortune company 100 companies, 20 are run by women, up from 19 last year (the women submit, 2009). The process of globalization has provided opportunities for educated, middle class women to fulfill their dreams and excel in fields, which were hitherto perceived as male domains. Women have now convincingly entered the top echelons of the corporate world and are changing the leadership landscape in corporations. Advocates of gender inclusiveness put forth the view of bringing about a change towards new social and economic values which includes feminine perspective and ethics, it’s important to examine how gender influences the comprehension and evaluation of ethical workplace issues. It also important to stress that what is at stake is not simply the quantitative objective of a numerical balance of women and men in decision making bodies; rather this is the qualitative objective of actually improving decision making( Flynn, 1999). The increasing female in labor force as is made evident by number as the question arise whether a change in the climate will occur as women increasingly take on management and leadership role.
