1.1 STUDENT INDUSTRIAL WORK EXPERIENCE SCHEME (SIWES).

The Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) is an accepted skill training programme which forms part of the approved minimum academic standards in the various degree programmes for all Nigerian Universities. It is an effort to bridge the existing gap between theory and practice of engineering and technology, science, agriculture, medical, management and other professional educational programmes in Nigeria Tertiary Institutions.
